Mango Chutney is one of the most well liked of current trending foods in the world. It’s simple, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. They’re fine and they look fantastic. Mango Chutney is something which I have loved my whole life.

To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have mango chutney using 7 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Mango Chutney:
  1. Get 2 lb Mangoes peeled and grated
  2. Take 1 Knob Ginger, peeled and grated
  3. Prepare 8 oz sugar
  4. Take 1 teaspoon salt
  5. Take 1 Tablespoon Vinegar (I used cider vinegar)
  6. Take 1 desertspoon chilli
  7. Get 1 teaspoon garam masala
Instructions to make Mango Chutney:
  1. Place mango and ginger in a saucepan, along with any juices. Over a medium heat bring to a slow simmer, stirring occasionally.
  2. When the mixture starts to thicken add the sugar and bring back to simmer, stirring frequently until it resembles jam (around 10 minutes)
  3. Add salt and spices, stir well for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the vinegar and stir to combine, cook for 2- 3 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool slightly then pour into a sterilized jar or two. Seal and label.
  6. Great with pappadoms as a dip or as an accompaniment to a curry. Also good in Coronation chicken.
